We picked up my new car!

Hi guys and welcome back to the blog ♥

If you follow my Instagram and/or my YouTube you'd already know that last week we picked up my new car.

And I love her!

I must admit I was super nervous at first driving her as technically she's not that much wider then my Ecosport was, but she is longer, but to me she does feel bigger.

I'm slowly but surely getting more used to her everyday. It does get easier every journey.

If you remember we ordered the new Kuga back in December on Christmas Eve - you can catch up with the post here

We bought the car from the Ford dealership in San Miguel de Salinas. We've used another Ford dealership in the past for our last two Fords, unfortunately the customer service really went down hill from the showroom and service department, which to be honest really put us off. But I really liked the Kuga and didn't want to cut my nose off despite my face, as the saying goes.

So we went to the Ford in San Miguel and we were assisted by Frederick who has been brilliant the whole way through and has really restored our faith in Ford. Nothing was a problem, he made us feel welcomed, happy, relaxed and a valued customer. (which we never got elsewhere)

When you're spending that sort of money you want to be felt looked after and valued. I'm sure it's also important for the dealership too that the customers feel valued, I think anyway. You want your customers to be repeats and continue using you for service and parts. It's all about the forward thinking, like in most businesses I guess, but we've noticed it doesn't always happen.

I am so chuffed we found a good dealership though and a great salesman in Frederick - we hope he never leaves Ford, so we can keep going to him!

My new Ford Kuga is such a lovely car. She feels so smooth to drive and is very modern with all her apps and big display which is like an iPad. I think most new cars have all this now, but it's great isn't it. Mine is also a hybrid. I'm really not convinced on all electric cars or plug in hybrids to be honest. Mine is a self charging one so it automatically switches between electric and fuel. We filled her up over a week a go and haven't had to top her up at all since. With all the electric charging she has actually gained more kilometers to use! It's going up not down which is fantastic.

It took me so long to decide what car I wanted next and I'm so pleased I chose the Ford Kuga. She really is an excellent car. Looks good, drives good, has all the modern bells and whistles, 10/10 from me for sure!

I just need to work on my confidence regarding her width whilst driving along narrower streets. Oh and parking too, but to be fair I'm always nervous with parking and always try to park furthest away anyway. I find it less pressure if you end up faffing around getting into a space, you get extra steps in and hopefully keeps your car away from possible dinks from other people and cars.

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend and let me know if you have a Kuga too? or have shared the same nervousness when first driving a new car, please let me know I'm not alone!

Anyway guys, thanks so much as always for stopping by the blog and see you next week.
