I'm so happy you've stumbled across my little corner of the internet to read my pages of pure randomness.

I've had blogs in the past, which I basically got fed up with. I had come to a bit of a dead end with them and questioned why I was bothering really, as they weren't going anywhere. But for many years I still thought about the blogs and as I've got a little older and now in my 40's and I am literally in my no f's given era, I've decided to start blogging again.

I'll be honest, I still don't know what I'm doing. I haven't a 'niche' or a plan, but I do know I love to write, to share and want to document all the goings on in my life.

Whether that's a trip away, a random recipe, a rant or just simple chats and sharing my thoughts that roll around in my head. I now have a place to 'get it all out' and hopefully build something special along the way - whatever that is, I'm still not sure!

So, a bit more a bout me!

In a nutshell, I'm 44, a typical Pisces, I'm married, living in Spain and a stay at home cat-mum of 12.

When I met my husband 17 years a go I was Cabin Crew in the UK and flying around the world to various long and short-haul destinations. My husband also in the aviation industry, we decided to take unpaid leave and go on a little overseas adventure for 6 months. 

Six months turned into five and a half years. 

We started off in KL in Malaysia for 6 months, then the remaining five years we were in the UAE. We lived in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ras Al-Khaimah. All due to my husbands jobs, but crumbs what an experience.

During that time we bought a house in Spain. 

We moved back briefly to the UK to basically sort our UK house out, sell it and move to Spain.

Again because of my husbands job he had the opportunity to work in Germany, France (which we did move to briefly), UK, Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and Florida.

For those locations I just visited for one reason and another, but mainly because of the cat's. It's hard to fly them around the world with us.

Fast forwarding to present day and because I don't want to bore you too much with my life story, we're firmly in Spain and Mark, my husband commutes to the UK for work.

So that's a little bit of background on me.

But I'm sure over the course of my posts, snippets and memories of life will pop into these pages too.

So along with building my blog I've recently started a YouTube channel. 

Which again is something I've wanted to do for so long, but always shied away from it. But as I'm in the no f's era I decided to just do it. 

It is a little cringy at the moment and I've hardly told anyone about it, but life's too short to worry about what people think! 

I am actually proud of myself that I'm actually editing and putting some vlogs together, with the help of ChatGPT of course, haha!

They call it surgery, but I guess it's really a procedure, as it's done under local anaesthetic, they just numbed the area of the gum and it was done at my dentist practice. Either way it wasn't a pleasant thing to go though. My sympathy goes out to you if you're having this done or anything to do with your teeth for that matter.  I think since I had braces about 5 or 6 years ago my pain threshold for the dentist has completely gone down to zero. Skincare routine revisited + Beauty of Joseon review

  Hi guys welcome back to the blog ♥ Hope everyone's well and having a good week.  * * * Back in January I shared with you what skincare products I use daily and I mentioned I had bought a couple of new items which I would report back on. Here's the  link  to that post if you wanna quick read. About a week or so after writing that post I really started looking at my skin and to be honest it wasn't looking quite right. I always seem to have a red nose and red chin which does bother me. I don't drink alcohol very much at all, literally a glass of wine a month, if that, so it can't be alcohol related. I'm thinking maybe some sort of mild rosacea maybe or maybe it is my skin reacting to the products I use. I went on good old ChatGPT and that suggested I literally strip everything back basically and just use warm water to wash my face in the morning and minimise the products I'm using on my face. My daily beauty products

  Hi Guys, I hope 2026 is treating you well so far. In my previous  post  I mentioned about some beauty products I had just started using and I will report to you my thought's in due course, but it got me to thinking about the products I already use on a daily basis. My bathroom staples if you like, the go-to's.  It's something I'm always curious to know, what are the products on peoples sinks, their everyday toiletries. Not the ones that maybe an ad feature or collaboration, but the ones that get popped in the shopping basket week after week, month after month. The products that may not be as aesthetically pleasing, but always make the cut.
