  Hi guys, welcome back to the blog. So, we've finally reached the end of January. I hear a lot of you cheer for that! To be honest though for me January has gone fairly quick. I'm not sure why as I haven't been super busy, just the usual plodding along and keeping up with my daily jobs throughout the week. Maybe I don't find January too much of a chore as we always have an easy Christmas, so come Jan it's just a new month, no slog, no expectations, no pressure. Or maybe because I'm living in Spain and even though it is chilly this time of year we still have the lovely sunny days, which definitely lifts your mood and makes the days more enjoyable for sure. Mark hates being back in the UK during the week for work, he gives me the daily weather updates. Must admit my UK trips have slowed up this time of year!   Hey guys! Happy Thursday and welcome back. How has January been treating you so far? I always used to think of January as a bit of a slump month. A month where nothing really happens, everyone's poor after Christmas and generally the weather is pretty naff. But I really have started to enjoy January and embrace the first month of the year. Granted living in Spain we do have better weather then the UK for example, but not as good as other countries around the world. I think sometimes you do have to just enjoy it for what it is and make the most of it. It has been a lot colder and somedays I really don't want to venture outside as the wind is bitter. I do make sure I do my daily walk though and get my steps in, that's a complete non-negotiable, no excuses. I do a minimum of 6500 steps a day now and I really have got myself into the 'habit' of walking everyday and it has made such a difference. Instead of going first thing in the morning this time of year I switch it...

Hi guys and welcome back to the blog. I wanted to chat to you about the sales. I know a lot of shops have their sales pretty much on-going these days and in a lot of stores the prices get slashed well before Christmas. In Spain though the main sales don't start in stores until January 7th, the day after the Three Kings celebration or Dia de Reyes. Usually they do start online on the evening of the 6th though. Of course like a lot of us I love a bargain so I had to go to the Boulevard on the 7th to check out the sales.  To be honest though I didn't really buy much at all. I mean I was ready to shop, I had the green light from Mark, but not much took my fancy to be honest. I am getting more sensible in my old age when it comes to buying. When I was younger I used to buy so much that was on sale and looking back it was really random stuff that just didn't get worn, but it was a bargain!   Hi Guys, I hope 2026 is treating you well so far. In my previous  post  I mentioned about some beauty products I had just started using and I will report to you my thought's in due course, but it got me to thinking about the products I already use on a daily basis. My bathroom staples if you like, the go-to's.  It's something I'm always curious to know, what are the products on peoples sinks, their everyday toiletries. Not the ones that maybe an ad feature or collaboration, but the ones that get popped in the shopping basket week after week, month after month. The products that may not be as aesthetically pleasing, but always make the cut. I'm not going to go through every single product I use, 'cause quite frankly you and me just don't have the time and if you're anything like me you haven't got the attention span for it either.   Happy New Year! I just wanted to pop on here quickly and wish you all a very Happy New Year. As you know I've recently started the blog up again and it has been a bit of a slow burner getting back into it. The last couple of weeks something seems to have switched though and I really want to get up and running properly. I know I've literally done two posts and this will be my third lol, but I am really enjoying having a blog again and sharing whatever comes along. I'm under no illusion the blog will be a slow burner, which to be honest I want it to be, I want to get myself into the swing of it all, challenge myself and get myself into the habit of posting regularly and consistently.
